Subjective Critique

My initial reaction to this painting was that the subject of the paintings look disfigured. Most of the objects in the painting are hard to identify. Some of the objects in the painting make me think of an eye, leg, torso, hair and a nose. But none of the objects look like angles and do not reflect the title in anyway besides being pink. One of the things I don't care about this piece is because the objects don't really have a clear resemblance to anything. I do not think the objects resemble angles at all, and look disfigured and un pleasing to the eye. The painting to me gives me an uneasy feeling because it kind of resembles disfigured bodies, and the colors are unappealing. I think the background color is to clashes with the pink color of the objects in a unpleasant way. I do think there is a slight resemblance to a head, but it is hard to distinguish if it is attached to a body. I think the painting is ugly and unappealing, and it looks very flat. I feel like this painting does not really have a clear subject, because it is very noisy and nothing individually really catches my eye. To change this painting I would draw two angles to make the subject clear so people would know what the painting was about. To make the painting more my taste I would shade in the characters in the painting to make them less flat. And I would use colors that were more calming and don't clash, I would change the colors to be more soothing and fade into each other. I would change the background of the painting to be smooth and not rough. I would also make the characters in the painting not disfigured and easy to identify. I think these changes would make a more soothing picture that is easier on the eyes.
